I have three loves.
Data. Dancing. Decluttering.
I’m a Melbourne gal, born and raised. But most importantly, I’m a seasoned data and customer solutions specialist with over 16 years experience in the Australian Arts Industry.
My journey in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) began in the Customer Services Team at The Australian Ballet, where I quickly developed a passion for leveraging data to enhance customer experiences. After three rewarding years, I moved to the Melbourne Recital Centre, where, as the CRM Coordinator for two years, I honed my skills in CRM and Business Intelligence.
My next big move was to Arts Centre Melbourne, Victoria's largest performing arts centre, where I embraced a newly developed and challenging CRM role. Over the course of a decade, I transformed the CRM team into a powerhouse of data and insights, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's approach to audience engagement and data-driven decision-making. My leadership not only focused on data management, but also emphasised fostering collaboration and innovation across the organisation.
A self-proclaimed post-it note aficionado, I thrive on bringing teams together to navigate the complexities of both qualitative and quantitative data. My creative and genuine approach transforms data discussions into engaging and productive brainstorming sessions, ensuring all voices are heard and that insights are tangible, actionable and exciting.
With a genuine passion for the arts, I am thrilled to engage in meaningful conversations about data and insights with colleagues and stakeholders, both locally and internationally. I am particularly enthusiastic about the growth of audience development within the ever-evolving arts landscape, embracing the opportunity to see how data can illuminate trends, enhance experiences and drive engagement.
I am dedicated to making a significant impact in the arts community by marrying my love for data with my passion for the arts, helping organisations harness the power of insights to thrive in a dynamic environment. With my extensive experience and unwavering enthusiasm, I am an invaluable ally for any project focused on data and customer solutions in the Australian Arts Industry.
Alongside my love for all things data driven, I have been committed to dance and decluttering, my two other professional passions! Being on a studio floor since I was three-years-old, and teaching for over 20 years, I know first-hand what the power of dance can do for individuals of all shapes, sizes, ages and experience levels.
Always the organised being, my professional decluttering journey started when I witnessed my parents undertake a three-year long journey to empty and organise my grandparents house after their passing. I knew I was witnessing a lifetime of memories being sifted through, and, perhaps more shockingly, the pressure of what a lifetime of hoarding can place on the people left behind. I want to assist others in overcoming physical clutter, which in turn can help alleviate the mental clutter as well.
